Marco started to research, explore and work in the relationship between posture, breathing patterns and chronic pain 15 years ago. A school that now looking back offered him the foundations to research the imprinting of emotional trauma on a biological cellular level. Now this has become his healing practice and major area of investigation. Marco is qualified in Integrative Breathing Therapies (2018) as well as in postural respiration and myiokinematic restoration with the Postural Restoration Institute (2016). Along that in 2022 he completed his training as Massage Partitioner with the Medicine Wheel centre.
The major pivotal change in his work happened around 2019 when he started to explore Sound for healing purposes. The journey got initiated by encountering an Yidaki (musical instrument called Didgeridoo in English language) and two major teachers of aboriginal heritage who offer thoughts and wisdom in relation to the use of sound for ritualistic and healing purposes.
Other profound encounters happened along the path, like the ones with teachers connected to pre-hispanic traditions of the nowadays known area of Peru. This lead him to explore the sounds and the healing frequencies of ancient civilisations that once upon a time stretched in the today known area of Lima and the central coast of Peru, Cuzco and the valley of Urubamba (Sacred valley). This exploration and the richness of experiences that still at today keep inspiring his ongoing researches and ulitmately this work of healing have to thank the meetings with maestro Tito La Rosa and other dear friends and teachers like Omar La Rosa and Alfredo Walter Navarro.
Nowadays Sound is central to his work of Somatic Emotional healing. A therapeutic multidisciplinary practice that merge neuroscience with ancient traditional practices.
Warmly,
Marco
